I understand that I have not posted a post for a while (if anyone is reading this , but better late than never. Well it has been one hectic week to say the least.
Firstly , my beautiful beagle Olympia died a few weeks back. And I have now felt as though I have mourned her passing for the appropriate time. That only means one thing. PUPPY SHOPPING! Now I have never actually been alive when any of my dogs were puppies so this is an entirely new concept for me to understand. With the posing question 'will I be able to look after a puppy while doing school work ?' I hit the Internet and newspapers. My Dad actually suggested to me that I look at shelters in the nearby area. After searching for days I finally found the little girl I want - Ava. The moment I saw her I decided she will be mine. So fingers crossed that she hasn't been adopted and I can go and get her (assuming I pass the adoption process -- something I am very worried about).
On Sunday my younger sister broke her ankle. Now this is the first break to anyone in my family. But it has been quite a strange experience , yet I find myself very jealous of her. Over the last 3 days she has been spoilt rotten. Here is a list of things she has been given (keep in mind that she only broke / fractured her ankle) : 6 blocks of chocolate , 2 packets of lollies, extra love and support from parents, a maid, and 4 VIP tickets to the One Direction concert. And on top of all this she is also not going to school for a minimum of 5 weeks. Which is to the end of term and I can just see her now watching YouTube this entire time. And all of this has left me entirely out of the family unit. And my chores list is increasing by the second.
On a better note. I have officially driven around my small town. I got my L's (learner license) over 2 months ago and it has only taken me that long to get onto the road. Also I can proudly addI did not crash anything in that environment. Which it great !
