As it is only a week or so into Spring it started to warm up with weather at about 26-30 degrees Celsius each day. But what started off as a lovely day quickly made a turn for the worst. Sitting in class at 2:00 there was a sudden downpour of rain. Our class wasn't to worried and thought it may lift. But no. In the 3 and a half hours since the rain started. It has dropped to around 10-15 degrees, windy, and a continuous stream of rain. It is horrible.
A tradition at my school for a many number of years has been the Year 12 Muck Up Day. This is when the year 12 are allowed to reek havoc throughout the school. Now most people would expect them being loud. But no. Today at school we were attacked at lunch with year 12s wearing balaclavas throwing water balloons, spaghetti bombs, soy sauce bombs, four bombs, maple syrup bombs, and balloons filled with wee. This is nothing out of the ordinary for their day or destruction. Actually this is fairly calm. A near by school parked a teacher's car on the second floor of the school and my geography teacher, as a teen, kidnapped his teacher, drove him to the top of the town and chained him to a tree. It really is a day of fun and adrenaline (if you don't get hit). And to make matters worse, my year (who is hated by the entire school students and faculty for being naughty) was set up to have a meeting when the first attack took place. We will seek our revenge though.
But to top off the day. I also went and picked up my money for New Caledonia. It's quite exciting. With a little over a week until we fly out. It really starting to kick in.
Anyway. Until I write again . . .
Toodles.
