MERMAID POOLS, TAHMOOR

Mermaid Pools, Tahmoor // 15-02-2015

We all packed our cars and set off in search for Tahmoor Mermaid Pools. A horse, german shepherd, and private property later we finally made it.

My friend jumped off a 30 metre rock, into the water and lost feeling in her legs, and they wouldn't move. She eventually got feeling back, and all was well.

20 minutes, and two of my friends later, I had eventually jumped off the smaller (but still high) rock. 

It was such a crazy day, but I loved it!

We made our way back to the car when we saw a lump on my friend's back (who jumped off the 30 metre rock), with 6/7 of us with life guard and first aid training, we set her in the car and headed off to Campbelltown emergency department. She was rushed in and was only allowed one person in the room. We were waiting outside when her father turned up and went in, so I lied to a nurse and chased after him. We finally made our way to her and sat with her while she went for tests. After 3 hours, we started to get the idea that the father didn't want us there, so we stayed. An hour later, the three of us with her were getting kicked out by her dad. We told a nurse and we got back in, only to notice that the nurse had called the police and that the police were now sitting around the corner from her room. 4 of the other girls left and we stayed. An hour later, we had to leave so we said our goodbyes and set off home.
