The day after my english exam, two of my friends and I decided to leave our phones in the car and go on a little hike. The Wodi Wodi track is so beautiful and an easy walk, we made it up and back in 2 hours. When we got to our phones in the car, we had dozens of missed calls from my mum, sister, teacher, school, and friends asking where we were. Turns out Mum and my sister forgot I was going to do this walk so early in the morning that they freaked out when I had an empty bed in the morning, so they rang the school to ask about and lessons I might be in, rang my teachers, rang my friends, and even posted facebook statuses asking if anyone knew about my where abouts. So we're all frantically calling everyone back, but my sister was apparently really upset about it, and wasn't answering any of my calls, so we raced over to the school with our bleeding leech bites and went to see her!
Moral of the story: leave a note on where you're going if you want some technology-free time!
