With one of my best friends leaving for the Navy very soon, We escaped on a little adventure to Macquarie Pass National Park!
It was so much fun, jumping in the water, getting stuck in a lightning storm, and seeing cute boys!
This place is busy, know that before you come. It is a popular place for kids to come and hang out, and for adults to reach as part of a hike. There is also a canyoning group that comes past a lot and it's quite a show watching them run across vertical rock faces into the water while doing a back flip (yes that did happen) and seeing a boy with a broken arm climb a vertical rope out of the water (yes that happened too)
Be warned before you go that if you are going to jump off the rocks, that it isn't uncommon for helicopters to have to airlift people out of there to hospital with severe injuries.
It was such a great day to spend with Fin before she leaves!
