Deja Vu, the Saturday night event in my town. Our night started off pretty well, when we left for the bus only to realise that we forgot our tickets. So we headed back out to my house to chill for an hour before the next train came... an hour later. We left with 20 minutes to get to the train, and just was the railroad gates were shutting, our train crossed the tracks, and we missed it! So we were stuck at the train station for another hour. We decided to ring our best friend who was home from the Navy for the first weekend, and see how she was going. Then the next thing we know, she's right there, at the train station surprising us. It was so lovely seeing her!!!
Our train came after about 20 minutes and we hopped on, and Fin headed home. Normally with it being their second birthday, you'd think that it would be a really good night! Well when we got there, it was empty! there was no where enough people! So we headed up to Humber again and met two of the girls I work with and got our cocktails (yep, I got a cosmopolitan) and hung around there for a while! When we finally went back to Deja Vu, it had picked up a little bit. We danced around for a while, before we decided to head on home. It was the best we could make of a fairly bad experience, but it was a pretty great surprise to see Fin!!!
