Valentine's Day. The one day a single girl feels more single. Surrounded by roses, couples, and candle lit dinners. So what better way to escape this Hallmark holiday than to go out! (for the second night in a row!) Two friends and I went to the Parkside event in our local town. But little did we know, you aren't allowed drinks in there. So we trekked back to Humber and got some cocktails. Turns out cosmopolitans ARE my drink, before trying our luck again. We headed on in, and it was horrible! There was barely anyone there. Turns out there are significantly more couples in our town than we had originally thought! We headed home pretty early, picking up a pint of Ben and Jerry's on the way and successfully eating it in the 10 minute walk to the train station. It was a pretty expensive night for what it was, but totally worth it !!!
