My life has been full of stress lately, my calendar is jam packed full of uni, work, tutoring, and socialising. And to say it's become a little much to handle at the moment would be an understatement.
But today something changed. When the day was struggling, a family reached out to me in a way I can not describe. The Callows are a family I tutor for, and absolutely adore. They make me feel like their big sister, and friend, which is something I really cherish.
Going to 5pm church with them tonight, and allowing them to share something so personal with me was such an eye-opening experience that I will forever cherish. My head has been cleared, and I now feel some sort of guidance that I hadn't felt in a while.
Their church is such a representation of what their family resembles. Family, caring, love, and support. The people there took to me, and I felt at home. Like I belonged there (you should see my smile right about now ha!) I was able to put my problems and stresses to God and ask for help, something I was always anxious to ask for. And I'm so glad I did! The weight off my shoulders feels like I could fly!

I just really want everyone to know that the little things in life, like finding a community, and family can really make your life that little bit better! No matter how big or how small :)
I want to show my appreciation for the Callow Family and the Bulli Anglican Church community, for really making me feel like I belong somewhere. And I'll be back next week, bible in hand!
