*Thanks for the picture mum*
Notice that there is only one out of focus picture of me? Yeah I did too.
We took to Edinburgh for the first time to play tourist. Climbing Scots Monument with the Christmas market below was gorgeous, the view you get from the top shows all of the city and you can really see the difference between old and new town Edinburgh. I'm so proud of mum for making it up to the top of the monument!
My uncle works in the supreme court of Edinburgh, so he took us behind the scenes through all the court rooms, and telling us about the history of the building. I'm so bummed I couldn't take any pictures in there because it was so gorgeous!
St Giles Cathedral is absolutely stunning, and for £1 you can take pictures on the inside. We wrote little Christmas cards to some prisoners in various countries.
Because of the christmas markets in Edinburgh, there was an ice skating rink set up in the middle of a park, so we had to give it a go. I may have gotten too confident, and landed straight on my bum (only to be laughed at by everyone else skating ha!).
Merry Christmas to all of you and a Happy New Year. Won't belong until you come home, can't wait. We had a quiet Xmas and New Year. Sounds like you and Sophie are enjoying yourselves. Did you see the Tattoo in Edingburgh? Watched some of it on TV. I'm sure Uncle David and Auntie Pam (& their families) are showing you both a good time, not to mention Grandma. I bet she is beside herself with you 2. See you on the 22/23rd. When does your Mum come home? Love Nanna xxx
