SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND: A WEEK WITH THE LADS

My mum's sister and her husband and kids live down in Sheffield, so we headed down there for the New Year. I've only met my Aunty Pam and Uncle Jeremy once when I was really little, and I haven't met my cousins ever. They live in this beautiful part of town where there are woods behind their house, and the city is just a tram ride away.

It was so nice to meet the boys (who are all nearly teenagers) and have a dog around the house, after living with my gran for the last month.

There were constant laughs filling the house when we were all together. Watching the boys dancing, seeing Gran make her own version on dabbing, being called Sheilas, singing Little T's Who You Are, and calling each other Annaha, Amsa, and Ophieso.

I really struggled to leave, there is something about that town, and being surrounded by family that really hits you - especially when you aren't surrounded by them in the same way at home. I was offered to stay and live with my family in Sheffield, and I am so tempted to take off and move over there while I keep studying.

Also how similar do my mum and Aunty look!
