18th Birthday #2
Theme: 60's
Once again waited until last minute to get our costumes. We raced out into town the morning of the party in hope of finding something at an op shop or a cheap clothing store. After finding nothing but a flower crown for very cheap, we went off in search of another op shop.
After walking in and it took us about half an hour to find a shift dress that would fit me with some long necklaces, and a belt. We thought that was great, until mum found the perfect hippie dress. a cream crochet dress with bell sleeves and a low back. We knew that was the dress and bought it straight away
I went by my work on the way to the party and my boss could not stop going on about my costume all night and was saying how good I looked
We had a great night of dancing, listening to music, and midnight trips to McDonalds where we had hour long chats, tears, and laughter
It was a very cheap costume:
dress - $7 (op shop)
necklaces - $4 (op shop)
belt - $2 (op shop)
flower crown - $2 (cotton on)
boots here - $49.95 (rubi shoes)
