So my study is fairly basic, and I do roughly the same method for all of my subjects
So first, I'll get all my notes, textbooks, and other resources (HSC Online) together and make a really good sturdy set of study notes based off syllabus dot points.
Then I'll get my palm cards and my syllabus. On one side of the palm card is the syllabus dot point and on the other side is basic information that I can elaborate on.
Then I'll turn a syllabus dot point requirement into a question and put that on one side of a palm card, and the answer on the back.
Once all of this is done, I'll go back through my syllabus with a pink, orange, and green highlighter and mark all the stuff I definitely know in green, the stuff I have no idea about in pink, and the stuff I am a bit in the middle about in orange.
Once I've done all of this, my friends and I get together and test each other.
During this whole time, I'll be doing practice and past HSC papers, and watching any YouTube clips I can. There are some really great PDHPE, chemistry, and biology ones
Some tips :
1. Use acronyms
2. Be organised
3. Don't leave study to last minute
4. If you haven't written study notes by a week before the test. Don't write them. It's too time consuming to be wasting that amount of time that close to the test
5. Team up with friends to make study notes. Swap your chemistry study notes for their biology ones to save time.
6. You still need a social life, so make sure you balance your time well!
7. Stress less
8. PRACTICE
I really hope this helped anyone that's worried about getting into study mode.
