For my sister's 17th Birthday, I bought her a Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb. So Sophie, her friend (practically sister), and I went up to the city to climb it.
This experience is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and even if you're a local, do it sometime in your life. I'm terrified of heights and I managed to do the entire climb in a very calm state. The leader, shares the history of the bridge, and some of the stories that come along with it.
One thing to make sure of though - make sure you're at the start at the line, we were, and we were constantly waiting on the people behind us to catch up, and it's better waiting on them at the top than being stuck behind them hahah.
I would recommend this climb for anyone, the tour guides are lovely, and really know what they're doing.
The best piece of advice I can give you for it is-
if there is a bus coming past: STOP, DROP, AND ROLL!
