LONDON, ENGLAND: LONDON WITH THE LADS

The lads (sorry Josh!) from Sheffield, came down to visit us in London for the day and it was seriously the best!

We started at Covent Garden and slowly walked along the Thames to Cleopatra's Needle, Big Ben, and House of Parliament. We were all trying to take typical leaning tower of Pisa pictures against Big Ben, and so many other tourists joined in, I wish I could have seen it from a bystanders perspective ha!

We saw Westminister Abbey before walking over to the horse guards, and 10 Downing Street.

From there we ended up in Trafalgar Square where we seriously questioned riding one of the lions- does anyone know if that's legal?

Walking up the Royal Mile, and through Hyde Park was so lovely - loved getting chased by geese, and chasing squirrels. We missed the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, but we stayed there and watched the guards for a while before walking through Green Park and taking the Tube to the National History Museum so we could see the dinosaur before it get's taken down to go on tour.

When you come up the stairs from South Kensington Station, you're engulfed in a sea of lights and music was people ice skate amongst the Christmas trees. It was seriously such a beautiful sight! We finally got through the huge line to get into the museum, and the dinosaur was blocked off! They had already started pulling him apart!

We took the South Kensington Tube to the London Bridge Station. London Bridge is so beautiful when it's lit up at night! But sadly because it was so late, we didn't have time to go into the Tower and see the crown jewels.

We headed back to Leicester Square where we ate Pizza Hut (which is so much better in England!) and raided the M&M world store before sprinting to the station so they could make their train home back to Sheffield.

It was so lovely getting to see our Aunty and cousins again before we left, and being able to experience London together for the first time.
